TEHRAN – Veteran photojournalist Alireza Soltani died at a Tehran hospital last Friday. He was 65.

Soltani, who was working for ILNA and Moj news agencies and several newspapers, had been suffering from cancer for several years. 

Earlier last year, he lost his wife in a car crash, which complicated his situation.

Soltani was buried in Tehran’s Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery next to his wife on Saturday.
